ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL (1847-1922)
Born on: 3rd March, 1847. Died on: 2th Aug, 1922.
Alexander Graham Bell was born in Scotland, later moved to America. He did research work in the investigation into the transmission of sound energy to electricity.
Contributions:
- Graham Bell transmitted his voice electrically – the first time in the world.
- Bell invented the Telephone.
- Successfully converted Sound into electricity by designing a transducer device.
- As an honor to his hard work, for the intensity of sound units, his name arranged i.e dB – deci bell.
- Bell designed hydrofoils to make ships faster and kites capable of lifting heavy objects/people.
